Motorists may volunteer for the Driver
improvement courses. However, any driver who
commits two moving traffic violations within
any 12-month period which result in either a
conviction or a judgment may be required to
attend and complete a Driver improvement
course. In addition, motorists may be
required to attend classes by a court.
Upon the successful completion of the
Driver improvement course, your Indiana
driving record will be updated to reflect the
four point credit. This credit can only be
applied once every three years.
Perfect for library or school use!
Volunteers and most drivers needing to
complete a driver improvement program course
may do so on the computer. The internet
course covers the basic driver improvement
curriculum information. Then the school will
grade the test and report the results to the
BMV.
