 Point Reduction Information
New Hampshire State has a system that assigns a point value to each traffic offense. Greater offenses have greater point values. If too many points are accumulated within a given time frame, your driving "privilege" (i.e. license) can be suspended. The Driver has to take the New Hampshire Point Reduction course to remove the points from the driving record.

During either the temporary or probationary licensing stages, there is a 90-day license suspension for accruing two moving violations before age 18, and a one-year suspension for three moving violations.

A temporary permit can be canceled or revoked for six months if the permit holder is convicted of any alcohol-related offense, including alcohol consumption or purchase.

If a driver wants to take a Point Reduction course to reduce points, they should contact the state DMV to check on the number of points that will actually be reduced for a successful completion.
