New Jersey Point Reduction

If a driver in New Jersey receives too many points after traffic violations, the Motor Vehicle Commission will mail the driver a Scheduled Suspension Notice. MVC keeps track of individual driving records through a point system that assigns points to each traffic violation, moving or otherwise. The more serious the violation, the more points added to a driver’s records. New Jersey Point Reduction Course can help the drivers to remove these points from the driver record.

New Jersey Point Reduction Course

Up to three points will be subtracted from driving records every 12 consecutive months a motorist is not convicted of an offense or suspended.

The period of Driver License suspension depends on how soon the violation occurs after restoration.

After completion of a MVS approved Point Reduction course up to two points may be subtracted from your point total.

Points recorded against a licensee shall be reduced at the rate of three points for each 12 consecutive months in which the licensee has not committed any violation either resulting in the assessment of points or in the suspension of driving privileges.
