The New York Point
Reduction course is used to remove the
points from the driver's record which are
fined by the court. Each qualifying course
must meet strict standards for the safe
driving information presented and course
effectiveness.
If you complete an
New York Point Reduction course:
It will help
refresh your driving knowledge with a
review of time-tested safe driving tips and
an overview of today's vehicle and traffic
laws.
The driver may be
eligible to reduce as many as four (4)
points on your driving record. The computer
will automatically note their eligibility
to receive the reduction.
If the driver's
are the principal operator of a motor
vehicle, they will receive a 10% reduction
in the base rate of automobile and
motorcycle liability and collision
insurance premiums each year for three
years.
